Happy Halloween!

Tonight we are going trick or treating with our cousins Connor & Carson! They are going to be dressed up in Star Wars costumes. Sissy is going to be Glinda from The Wizard of Oz and I am going to be a scary spider :)

Here is a flashback from last year though.

New pics to come later :)

What's new with me?

Let's see... I have TWO new teeth that have come in. One on the bottom and another one on the top. It looks like there is more to come, and I can feel them. Once in awhile I will wake up in the middle of the night and Mommy will come find me laying in my crib crying and chewing on my hands. I'll be glad when all of my teeth are finally in. I'm also talking a lot! I will say Mama, Dada, Sissy, ball, all done, more, please, cheese, what's that, uh oh, baby, bye bye, thank you - and more! Mommy & Daddy love the stage that I'm in and say that I'm a lot of fun :) Last week Mommy was playing with her camera (imagine that) outside and got some pictures of me in my cute sweater. She has been busy taking pictures of other people lately but she still never neglects my picture taking time.

This is what I do when Mommy says "Touchdown!"

Too bad the Cowboys haven't seen too many of those lately. Maybe next week.

Sleepy girl

With George #1, #2, and #3.

We're still here

I have been sick the past couple weeks with a cough that I just can't get rid of! Mommy & Daddy (and sissy) have to give me a nebulizer at night. I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of it. OK, so last night I hated it and cried - but it is supposed to make me feel better.

Last night Mommy took some pictures of me so she could update my blog finally!

Oh, and she is just starting up her new photography business - check out her new Photo blog here!

Our Trip (finally!)

Mommy wanted to tell you all about our trip, so here she is.

"What a blast! We had such a great time at Disney with the kids, they were very good for us. We left last Wednesday night around 7:40pm. I thought Sophia might sleep a little bit on the place since she usually is in bed by 8pm nowadays. Wrong. Which was fine. There was a little boy in front of us, and a little girl behind us that she played with. Or annoyed, one of the two. She kept poking her hands through the seats to both of them and would touch their hands. The little girls parents behind us loved Sophia and was asking about her. The Mom even offered to take Sophia back with them so she could watch the movie with the little girl. She doesn't know that she doesn't sit still for very long :)

We got to hotel and unpacked some things and just relaxed - we knew we were going to be up early on Thursday for Magic Kingdom.

Thursday:
We got up around 7a and went and got Sophia some breakfast and brought it back to the hotel. We got everybody around and then boarded the bus for the Magic Kingdom! We got there and I had forgotten just how beautiful it is there. It's such a happy place :) And the park is so clean. I told Brian that you have to go there as an "adult" so you can appreciate it. We started off with Splash Mountain - Brian took Logan and Carson. After about 5 minutes they came back, Logan crying, she didn't want to go on it. So he took Carson and we watched them. Sophia was too little for this ride, however she did do most of the rides (all of them that she could.) She rode the Dumbo ride, It's A Small World, Peter Pan, Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride, Haunted Mansion (she kept waiving to the ghosts), Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Carribean, the cars where kids can drive- Logan drove and Sophia and I rode along, Mickey's 3D Orchestra, along with some others. She liked most of them, unless they were intruding in her nap time then she wasn't the biggest fan (ex. Dumbo).

Sophia took a nap everyday about lunch time, for about an hour, and then she was good to go for the rest of the evening. We were gone until after 9p, it made for a long day, but it was a lot of fun.

FRIDAY:
We got up around 8a and went to Animal Kingdom. We got to go on a safari and see elephants, giraffes, lions, monkeys and all sorts of animals!! The coolest animal we saw were the big gorillas. They looked pretty scary (there are pics of them in the link below). We spent most of the day here, until about 3:30pm and then headed back to the hotel. I met a couple of friends with their kids at Downtown Disney and Brian took Logan and Carson to Hollywood Studios. Let me tell you, it was quite a trip on the bus to Downtown Disney. I was by myself remember, with Sophia, a stroller (which I had to open and close to get on the bus), a diaper bag, camera bag, Sophia's blanket, and George. A gentleman gave me his seat on the bus (so nice) and it started off OK... then Sophia got to throwing her paci on the ground, hitting and slapping, pouting (she was tired), and being a grump butt. The bus ride was a good 25 minutes which seemed like 5 hours. We finally made it there though and had a good time.

SATURDAY:
We went back to Magic Kingdom and rode some of the rides we didn't on Thursday. And best of all, we got Logan on Space Mountain. I was going to take Carson on it and then she said she was going to go. We thought, "Yeah, right." This was coming from the girl that wigged out on Splash Mountain. So I took her instead of Carson before she changed her mind... she LOVED it!! She went on it again with Brian and Carson right after that. THEN we got her to go on Splash Mountain - again, LOVED it. And lastly, Thunder Mountail Railroad (roller coaster) and LOVED that, too! That's my girl :) Now I have my roller coaster buddy since Brian doesn't like that kind of things usually. Although he did go on Space Mountain and a new ride at Animal Kingdom, so I am proud of him for that.

SUNDAY:
We were up at 4:15am, the bus left for the airport at 5am. Sophia slept the first half of the flight and then was a terror the second half - but we expected it since she was SO AWESOME (she got the star MVP of the trip!) the rest of the trip. So we laughed it off. We got home and her and I took a 3.5 hour nap. It was greatly needed.

It was an awesome trip, but it was good to be back home in our own beds. Sophia agreed...

OH!! I almost forgot the BEST part of the trip. Thursday night - the Spectro-Magic parade. It was the best!! It was a parade at night, everything was all lit up. The kids were in AWE. I couldn't get enough of just sitting there watching them. Logan's eyes lit up and so did Sophia's. Sophia sat quietly and watched all of the lights... every once in awhile she was say something (that sounded Chinese) but I'm sure she knew what she was trying to say. She waved to all of the characters - Mickey, Donald, Ariel, Snow White. It made me a little teary eyed watching the kids being so happy."
