The shirt says it all

Perfect in every way. Atleast that's what Mommy and Daddy always tell me.

3 for 4

So far with the veggies I am 3 for 4. I tried squash the other night for the first time and like the sweet potatoes and carrots, I loved it!

Then I started to turn into Ms. Cranky Pants because I was very sleepy and ready for my evening nap. OK Mom, please put the camera down, I want to take a nap with my blankie.

Next on the list - green beans. Then the good stuff starts - fruits!

Working mother

When Mommy leaves for work in the mornings this is what I'm doing.

And this is what she misses every morning when I wake up!

My big smiles and happy self! I do know though that she would rather see my smiling face every morning rather than going into work and staring at a computer screen. That's why I love Wednesdays when she is off of work. I can't wait to wake up to her tomorrow.

Yes?

May I help you with something?

Napping

This weekend proved that I can sleep anywhere.

At sissy's basketball game with twenty 7-9 year old boys and girls yelling and running up and down the basketball court:

At breakfast with Mommy and Daddy:

And of course, laying with Mommy on the couch:

The last one is my favorite.

Dear Grandma...

I wanted to write you to tell you that I am very excited to see you this weekend! I'm also very excited to see Grandpa and all of my cousins. It seems like it's been forever since I've seen you and I am so much bigger than before. I can now roll over and I am eating baby food! But you already know that since you read my blog regularly. Anyways, we'll see you in 4 short days.

PS. Mommy, Daddy, and sissy are excited to see you too!

Aren't I a good typer?

Can you see me?

I bet you can't, since I'm camouflaged.

Fun around the Christmas tree

We put our Christmas tree up last weekend and it is so pretty! I can't wait until there are presents underneath it, but right now it's empty. However, I have found out that there are sooooo many fun things to do around the Christmas tree!

You can practice rolling over by the Christmas tree.

You can play with Barbie ornaments that are on the Christmas tree.

You can can practice stretching under the Christmas tree. Look how good my pike position is!

You can do sideways sit ups by the Christmas tree. I need to work on my abs, after eating all of this food I'm starting to chunk up a bit.

You can be very un-lady-like under the Christmas tree. Sorry Mom!

You can think under the Christmas tree. Hmmmm... just how do I get this thing in my mouth?

You can order drinks under the Christmas tree. Right here! I'll take one 6-oz bottle, please!

And lastly, I must admit that my favorite thing to do around the Christmas tree is to just sit and look at the pretty lights.

Carrots, please!

We know from earlier this week that me and peas just didn't go hand in hand. I didn't like them, and they probably didn't like me. Next I tried carrots. I think these are my favorite so far, how yummy!! Here is the obligatory first picture of me tasting them:

Ohhhh, those are good! More please!

Please don't mind my hair in these pictures, I was having an extremely bad hair day. I guess the cold weather will do that to you!

Oh Christmas Tree

... oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely. Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely. Each year you bring to me delight, meaning in the christmas night. Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely.

Peas? No thanks.

Last night I moved onto trying a new veggie - peas. I must say, I loved the sweet potatoes but wasn't a big fan of the peas. My first taste:

As you can see by my face I wasn't too sure what to think of them at first, but after a few bites I decided that I didn't want to eat it anymore so I kept spitting it out.

Mom finally got the picture and let me eat the rest of my oatmeal, and no more peas. I sure hope the next veggie I try is better than these peas. No wonder a lot of adults don't like them, they are not very good!

Christmas pictures with Logan

Mommy wanted to take some Christmas pictures of me and sissy last night. I'm not sure why she waited until right before my bedtime to do this (neither does she...) but here is what we ended up with!

I started getting sleepy towards the end of them, but I still had a good time. I love hanging out with my sister.

My new thing

Is to stick out my tongue like this:

Santa Claus is coming to town

Saturday morning I woke up and was so excited that I was going to meet Santa for the first time. Mommy gave sissy and I a bath and then we got dressed up all pretty to go to Mommy's work, where Santa was going to be. Sissy was the first one to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. She told him she wanted a new baby sister. Just kidding, she loves me! Then it was my turn. I told him that all I wanted for Christmas was my 2 front teeth. Or any teeth would do! He thought I was silly, like he's never heard that one before.

"Sissy, what's up with this guy?"

Here is a picture of all of us from Saturday. I'm not really paying too much attention...

And here is a picture of me and Mommy! Again, not paying attention. I must get that from my Mom.

Santa said that he heard sissy and I had both been good girls this year and we were going to get lots of fun things for Christmas. He said that he'd be back on Christmas Eve and leave us some fun presents! He said not to wait up for him though because we wouldn't be able to see him that night. What's up with that?

Now all I have to do is wait. 22 more days.
