My first fair

Last weekend Mommy & Daddy too me to the state fair. It was my first time and I was excited. Mommy kept talking about all of the good food they had (after all, the only reason she goes to the fair is for the Red Barn elephant ears)

I enjoyed fried Reese Cup...

And also like Mommy, with it all over my face.

I even got to go on the Merry Go Round for the first time!

It was a little boring for the Drews side in me though.

I did make sure I was tall enough though first before I got on.

It was a great day, even though it was pretty hot outside! I had a great time at the fair, I can't wait to go next year when I can ride more rides.

Not in the mood for swinging

Mommy took me to Great Grandma Pauline's side family reunion. I was sooo hungry and it was way past my lunch time. I did NOT want to swing, not even with Mommy.

All I wanted was to eat, not swing.

First encounters

Mommy and I went over to her friends house (well, her friends parents house) and they have a horsey! I got to see one up close.

No Mommy, I don't want to look at him...

OK fine. Wow, he has a big head.

Fun with Great Grandma Pauline

Friday Mommy took me up to see my Great Grandma Pauline, we had a lot of fun together.

She tried to take George from me.

I also played with some of her old school toys... this one I liked to throw around because it made noise.

My favorite thing though was taking all of the magnets off of her refrigerator.
Then Grandma and I went outside on her porch and I had fun swinging on her swing...

After that I took a bath and ran around Grandma's some more - ripping papers off of her tables, throwing picture albums on the floor, and taking more magnets off of the fridge.

It was fun.

Busy weekend

Mommy and I had a busy and fun weekend! We went up to the South Bend area to visit some family. Mommy took LOTS of pictures, stay tuned! She promises she will update soon :)
