Halloween Help

Mommy can't decide what to dress me up in for Halloween. As you know, she was going to dress me up in a monkey costume. She loves it and it's very cute, but she is afraid that it will be too hard for me to walk around in. We will be trick or treating with sissy and my cousins so we will be walking around a lot. Plus I hate having things on my head, and the determined child I am, I might not enjoy that too much. So, instead she was thinking about this instead:

Thoughts? It's more "big girl". I know I'm still a baby, kind of, but I'm just not sure the monkey is the best costume for me. Even though Mommy still thinks it's super cute, she is just looking out for me.

Let me know what you think!!

Miss Jennifer took this video at daycare last week.

Keep your eye on me :)

And if that doesn't bring up the video, click here. It is DEFINITELY worth it!!

Mommy likes to play this game with me

Where's your belly?

There it is!

Where's your nose?

There it is! Or, almost is. Whenever Mommy asks me where my nose is, this is what I do. Or this.

What? You didn't know that your "nose" means putting your finger in your mouth??

Oops

I didn't see the big stick there.

Eh, get up and brush it off...

What Grandma taught me to do

Wink!

She winks at me and then I wink back. Or, this is how I wink.

Fun with Mommy

Daddy is out of town for a few days so Mommy and I went out last night and had some fun. We went to the area where are "hope-to-be-future house" is and walked along the trail that would be behind the house. It is so neat back there! Then on the way home, we stopped at a little area right down the road from our house.

I had a great night with Mommy! We got home and played a little bit, then it was time for bed. At 7:30pm, Mommy kissed me good night and told me she loved me. She told me Daddy loved me too and he would be home in a few days.

A new house?

Mommy & Daddy just started looking at some new houses for us. We walked into one of them last weekend and it was so pretty. Sissy and I were running all around it. We walked into one of the bedrooms and saw this sign:

I think it was more than just a sign on the wall. I think it was a sign to move in there :) Grandma went and saw the house on Saturday when she was here, and she loved it. We told her she can move here and live in the basement with us!

Grandma's Gone

and I'm sad.

Grandma Sue came to visit us last Wednesday, and she flew home yesterday. It was so good to see her and spend some time with her! She watched me at home on Thursday & Friday and we had a blast. I was so tired on Thursday from all of the playing that I fell asleep in sissy's bean bag chair! Mommy came home from work that night and I had on a pair of pajamas and my shoes. Mommy said, "Oh, you had to wear your shoes with your jammies?!" and Grandma said, "I didn't know those were pajamas!" Silly Grandma :) Grandma gave me a bath that night and later on I had something in my hair so Mommy went to wet it and it became all suds-y, I guess Grandma didn't rinse me all of the way. So there we stood where we were, in the kitchen, with my head under the sink rinsing out my hair. Friday we had fun playing, too. And all weekend. We took Grandma to the airport yesterday morning and had to say good-bye to her. It was sad. She even taught me a new trick - how to wink! Well, she winks at me and I squint both of my eyes and get the biggest grin... Mommy will have to get a picture of it and post later. It's pretty cute, so I hear.

I hope she comes back with everybody else next month so I can see her again. I already miss her.

My first kiss

Mommy and I went over to her friend Raayn's house, and I got to play with her little boy Hudson.

And I had my first kiss - watch out boys!

Bean Bag Fun

Again, please disregard the messiness of the house.

She loves to do this! And it's so funny because she'll just lay there and not move.

My new trick

Look what I can do!

Apparently Mommy wants me to be in gymnastics or something when I get a little older, so she is teaching me young.

DISCLAIMER - Please disregard the messy house. We are in the midst of doing some fun cleaning.

It's not torture

She really doesn't mind, until the end.

But it's HILARIOUS. I think so atleast.

A better night

Mommy & Daddy are hoping that I sleep better tonight. Last night I woke up after midnight and Daddy came and got me. He was in the living room watching TV. I wasn't fussy and I wasn't sick, I just wasn't tired. Daddy gave me a bottle and it was yummy, but I still wasn't tired. When Daddy got me out of my room I was standing on my crib soother - luckily I didn't try to climb out of my crib.

Around 2a Mommy heard me and came out to take over. I laid with her wide awake on the couch and we watched tivo'd episodes of Young & the Restless (it was so good, Victor really isn't dead - he is back in Genoa City!!) Finally about 3:15a she put me in bed and I fell asleep.

They are both hoping that was a fluke and that I'll sleep normal tonight.

We'll see :)

Pretty in pink

Monkeying around

I'm not even sure if "monkeying" is a word... but that's OK.

Seriously though, I am big into climbing now. I even made it half way up the slide by myself!

No wonder George is my best friend.

The game

OK Dad, this is where I go, right?

Got it. Blue 52... hut, hut, hike!!

I'm going long!! Over here!

I guess that wasn't the right play. Sorry Daddy!

I need a drink break anyways.

Goooooooo Irish!

Today Notre Dame had their first game of the season. They didn't look the best but they were still able to pull out a victory against San Diego State University. We went over to Uncle Kelly & Aunt Becky's house to watch the game. I played outside with the kids, too, and we had a lot of fun!

George wanted to watch the game, too. Oh, and this is my NEW George - George #2.

Anybody for some corn hole??

I was trying to find a way to make this jersey a little more "girly."

Waiting for the game to come back on...

Game time! Let's go!

Kisses for Connor.

Hugs for Mommy :)

I had a lot of fun playing with my cousins, I even fell asleep in the car on the way home. Tomorrow we are going to watch Connor play football.
