Happy Halloween

Today is my first Halloween and I am so excited! Tonight I am going trick or treating with sissy, my cousins Connor and Carson, and my friends Cassie and Luke, it is going to be so much fun. I'm sure Mom will take a lot of pictures in my cute lamb costume, but these will have to do for today!!

I love singin' and dancin' in my jammies...

Such a big girl... I can sit up with Mommy's help!

But not all by myself, Mom! Daddy, help!!

Enough excitement. Night, night.

I looooooooove my hands

Some things will never change.

Inside of Mommy's belly...

And outside of Mommy's belly...

I wanna be a Cowboy, baby

What a tiring weekend!! Tony Romo and the boys had this weekend off, but that meant that it was time to start training to become a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader for the 2008-2009 season. I didn't think much of it, I mean, I knew that I would be able to make the team with my Mom's cheerleading skills. I must admit though, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. They really did work us! First of all they made us do side leg raises.

Then we had to do sit ups. But not just regular sit ups. We had to put our legs up in the air THEN do the sit up. This was much harder than what I'm used to. Usually Mom and Dad will grab my hands and help pull me up. Not this time!

Worst of all, they made us army crawl. Seriously?! I'm only 4 months! I got tired from that one real fast, and decided to do what I do best on my belly... suck on my hands.

Finally we were able to move on to some fun stuff! Daddy helped me with my try-out cheer. I told him I wanted Mom to help me, but he insisted.

Lastly, I needed to take some notes from some of the other teams and their cheerleaders, so I turned on the end of the Redskins/Patriots game.

Then came the time that we had all been waiting for... the announcement of the new 2008-2009 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I was so scared as they started going through the list of names. They got through the entire list and they hadn't said my name. I couldn't believe it. After all of the hard work and time I put into this, and I didn't even make the team.

Wait! What?! They forgot one name... Sophia Noelle Sawyer!! Hey, that's me! I did it, I made the team!! All of my hard work paid off, I am so happy! Mom & Dad are going to be so proud of me!! Sorry Grandma Sharon, but I prefer to wear a Romo jersey over a Manning jersey.

122 days old

That is how old I will be tomorrow! I can't believe that I am already 4 months old, I am getting so big! I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day than home with Mommy (sorry Daddy!) Again, I let Mom and Dad sleep all night without having to get up for me. They better remember how good of a girl that I am. I woke up a little before 7a to start the day with Mom. She took me to Babies R Us and bought me a brand new exercauser by Baby Einstein, I love it so much!! We did have one problem though, I am too short for it. When Mom put me in, I just hung there like this.

If you can't tell, there is about 4 inches from my feet to the bottom of the thing! So, we had to improvise and put a pillow under my feet so I could touch.

Ahhhh, much better. Thanks Mom! There were so many fun things to do on here, I started out with reading a book. It was about animals - ducks, cows, cats & dogs! How fun! Then I also played with these things that I could spin with my hands and they made fun sounds. The best part of this whole thing was this one part that made animal noises and played songs! Mommy would push one of the buttons and it would go, "Moooooo" and then it would say "Cow". And then it would say "cow" in Spanish, but I don't know Spanish. It also played a song when it was done!! I sure do love music!

I will admit though, there was this crazy guy that kept watching me the entire time and I wasn't sure what his problem was. Seriously, what are you looking at?!

After a long day of playing, Mom thought that it would be fun to take more pictures of me since I'm turning 4 months old. I guess I should be used to this by now. I didn't mind though because I got to hang out with my friends. Mr. Bunny was kind of mad at me though by the time the pictures were over with because I kept chewing on his ear. Oh, and I guess Turtle didn't like me sitting on her either, but whatever. I am the one that is turning 4 months old, get over it.

By the end of the day I was pretty tired! I feel bad though because I took it out on my dog, Benny. He used to like me and always have to be around me, but now I think that he is starting to hate me. I'm not sure why.

Swingin' for the first time!

Mommy, Daddy, and sissy took me to the park yesterday and I got to go on the swingset for the first time! I wasn't too happy when we first got there though. Mommy was taking me out of the stroller and my leg got caught when she pulled me up. It hurt! She continued to torture me by putting me in the swing set when I was still mad at her.
But after being there awhile, and after Mom fed me, I told her I wanted to try out the swing again. I loved it! Now, I'm just a little peanut so Mom & Dad had to put a blanket behind me and the swing was still too big for me and my Baby Legs. But, we made due and I had a great time swinging!!
I'm such a big girl! Even though I look so tiny in this swing. I'm just hanging out.

You know Mom, she was camera-happy so I thought I'd give her something to smile about! This is what I think about all of the pictures, Mom.
FINALLY, I made her take a pic of sissy in the race car. I think that is what it is.
Then we went home. That was such an exciting trip to the park! I had so much fun on my first swing ride. I think though next time we'll have to wait until I get a little bigger... or we'll have to take a bigger blanket to put behind me!
