Publix

Mommy & Daddy went to Florida last year and they were introduced to "Publix" It is a grocery store that they don't have in our area, kind of like a Kroger or Marsh. When they were there last year they got a sub sandwich from Publix and it was the best sandwich ever! Or atleast Mommy thought so. So she was sooooooo excited to get back to Florida this year. She found out that the nearest Publix from the condo we were staying at was 2.6 miles away, she couldn't wait. We went to Publix and she got her sandwich... and had to take a picture of me in the shopping cart.

Gotta love her!

I'm 10 months old

Well, I turned 10 months last week but here is my picture from it. Oh, the sand says "I'm 10 months old" but it's hard to tell.

Can you believe I am going to be ONE year old in less than 2 months? Mommy can't.

"Mama"

My Mommy wanted to make a post today...

"Finally, last night Sophia said "Mama" She has said "Dada" for months and even "Pa, ba and na" Last week sometime she started make the "M" sound and last night... "Mama".

I loved the sound that made coming out of her sweet little mouth."

One more day until I get to fly on a big airplane with Mommy & Daddy! Grandma, here I come!!

My first earthquake

Apparently this morning I slept through my first earthquake!! Mommy said that she was getting ready for work in the bathroom and the door handle started shaking and it sounded like somebody was trying to get in. She said it kept shaking so she opened up the door and Daddy was still sleeping in bed. She thought that A) somebody broke into our house, or B) there was a ghost. Mommy said that even when we had the worst winds in our house the handle never did that so she didn't know what it was. She was on her way to work and the radio said we had an earthquake! It was 5.4 on the richter scale and was about 170 miles SE of Indianapolis - somewhere in Illinois.

I missed it though, I was sleeping. I just thought I had a dream that somebody was shaking my crib.

I didn't try to eat any of sissy's sidewalk chalk.

OK, so I did a little.

Day at the park

Yesterday Mommy took me to the park since it was so pretty outside, I had a lot of fun!

I played with sticks.

Ate some cheerios.


Got sad when I ran out of cheerios (it's OK, there were more but I'm impatient... I get that from my Mom)

Washed down my cheerios with some water.

Swung on the swingset.

Played with leaves and mulch.

Ate some mulch.

Got mad when Mommy took the mulch away from me.

Played by a big tree.

Chewed on a big stick by the big tree.

Read a book.

Played with some toys.

And my favorite thing that I did at the park...

Laughed with Mommy.



It was the perfect day.
